Kathy has been busy listing new items in the Etsy shop, so be sure to go over there and take a look. The shop is clearing out most of the "kid stuff" since Christmas is over, so its being featured online. Check it out!

Cheryl is still busy trying to dig out from all the snow in the courtyard. She worked all weekend getting the Christmas decor down and attempting to get new things ready for her loyal customers that visit her in Walnut! Come see the new offerings!

The winter of 2009/2010 has been horrid. Enough is enough already! We experienced another snow storm on Monday and Tuesday of this week. By Thursday both Cheryl and I were going crazy inside and decided we MUST get to the shop and do some work. Cheryl worked on pricing many new items to be offered in the shop and I worked on pulling, photoing and documenting items for our Etsy shop.

And as soon as Tom gets home and gets down to clear out the courtyard, we will be watching for you to come see us in Walnut!

4 Steps to Staying Organized!

• Reduce clutter: Sort mail immediatly and put it into piles, recycling junk mail and separating bills from personal correspondence.  Also consider paying bills online, and logging on to dmaconsumers.org to reduce junk mail.
• Label: Stow awy seasonal items in labeled clear containers to identify the contents the following year.  With holiday decorations, include a photo of how you decorated that year so you remember your good ideas and create tradtions.
• Clean the computer: Read e-mails once, then delete or save them into folders.  
• Donate Biannually:  Apply the 80/20 percent rule when deciding what to donate. Most people need and use only 20% of their belongings 80% of the time.

Just want to join this smiley little screen kitty in saying I hope you will all have a safe and happy trick or treating day! Sow-a-seed/Prior-attire is getting ready to take all the fall stuff down and get ready for Christmas. I hope you will check back often to see what's going up in the shop. SASPA Tip of the Day

Now is the time to get those fall bulbs in. Dont wait til the ground freezes! Please, please remember this is the time. Dont be regretting (again) when spring comes, that you didnt add to your tulips and daffodils! Pretty simple to do...dig 4-6" drop in bulb, maybe a little bone meal, cover and in the spring the colors will burst! Have fun.
